Do I pay more when a post goes viral?
No. Paid plans include unlimited DMs. Your price depends on the plan, not on how many people comment or message you.
Is Kobu safe for my Instagram account?
Kobu uses the official Instagram API with Instagram Login. You authorize access through Instagram, and you can revoke it at any time. We never ask for your password.
What account type do I need?
An Instagram Professional account (Business or Creator).
How does “build with AI” work?
Describe what you want in one sentence, like “when someone comments GUIDE, DM them the link”. Kobu drafts the automation. You review it and turn it on.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are monthly, with no contract. Cancel from your dashboard.
What is the MCP connector?
On Pro and Agency, you can connect Kobu to AI assistants that support MCP, or use our API, to schedule posts and draft automations from your own tools.
Does Kobu work with personal Instagram accounts?
No. The official Instagram API only supports Professional accounts. Switching is free in the Instagram app.
Which post types can I schedule?
Images, carousels and Reels, published through the official Instagram API.
Is there a “Sent with Kobu” line in my DMs?
Only on the Free plan, as one short line at the end. All paid plans send DMs without Kobu branding.
Are there limits on DMs?
Free includes 200 DMs per month. Paid plans have no Kobu limit. Instagram applies its own rate limits to all apps, and Kobu respects them.
What is automatic UTM tracking?
Kobu adds UTM tags to the links in your DMs, so you can see in your analytics tool which posts and automations bring visitors. Starter and above let you edit the tags.

Not yet. All plans are monthly.
